The following required specific information must be provided from the Shipper / OEM on the gas tank system on their vehicle in well in advance of booking (In advance of first shipment of the concerned CGV, LNG or LPG model):
- Size (liters) and number of gas tank(s).
- Expected pressure (Bar) in the gas tank(s) upon delivery to terminal at Port of loading.
- Filling degree in the gas tank(s) in percentage (%) of max filling capacity. Note that WalWil have max 25% filling of the tank volume up to max 450L which is a tank of 1800L as per IMDG Code SP 961.2. (Example tanks volume of 60L then you are allowed filling of 15L in the tank)
- Advice where on the vehicle the gas tanks are positioned. It is a requirement that this is shown by relevant picture/drawing.
- Advice the position of the Temperature Pressure Release Device (TPRD) pipe outlet and at what direction the gas would be ventilated in case of release. It is a requirement that this is shown by relevant picture/ drawing.
- Confirmation on what elevated temperature (degrees C) that the TPRD activates.
