Vehicles fueled by CGV, LNG or LPG

The following required specific information must be provided from the Shipper / OEM on the gas tank system on their vehicle in well in advance of booking (In advance of first shipment of the concerned CGV, LNG or LPG model):

  1. Size (liters) and number of gas tank(s).
  2. Expected pressure (Bar) in the gas tank(s) upon delivery to terminal at Port of loading.
  3. Filling degree in the gas tank(s) in percentage (%) of max filling capacity. Note that WalWil have max 25% filling of the tank volume up to max 450L which is a tank of 1800L as per IMDG Code SP 961.2. (Example tanks volume of 60L then you are allowed filling of 15L in the tank)
  4. Advice where on the vehicle the gas tanks are positioned. It is a requirement that this is shown by relevant picture/drawing.
  5. Advice the position of the Temperature Pressure Release Device (TPRD) pipe outlet and at what direction the gas would be ventilated in case of release. It is a requirement that this is shown by relevant picture/ drawing.
  6. Confirmation on what elevated temperature (degrees C) that the TPRD activates.
